OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Images 2.6 in its November 4 release notes. The company says the image model produces images faster and better preserves details across edits, such as clothing when changing a background. AiBrainWorX has not independently measured those claims.
Motion and repeatable references
GIF creation is rolling out in ChatGPT. The release notes describe generating a looping animation from a prompt or an uploaded sketch, adjusting playback speed, and sharing the result. Saved reference images can also be reused in later chats.
For creators, a reusable reference could reduce repetitive setup across image iterations. The practical questions are how consistently details survive more complicated edits and which users receive the features during rollout. OpenAI's notes do not provide a full independent benchmark or universal availability guarantee.
